Design for the web is my specialty. I've been designing web sites since 1994, when I was in High School. When people ask me how long I have been doing web site I usually reply with "Since before you knew what the internet was." My clearest memory of those times is the day that Netscape released its first browser that allowed background images.

The key to a good website is a clear navigational scheme. If the people who visit your site can't understand how to get around and where to find what they are looking for they WILL go somewhere else.

This seems obvious to me, but why do so many web sites confuse us?

Cruise MD: This website is for a Cruise Holidays franchise in Frederick, MD. It is a good example of a relatively small and inexpensive site for a small business. www.cruisemd.com

CCRA.org: The Chevy Chase Recreation Association is a tennis and swimming club. The design for the interface and logo was commissioned by a programmer who has been hired to do the site. The design is complete, although production is ongoing.

NAGHSR.org: The Website for The National Association of Governor's Highway Safety Representatives is by far the biggest website we've handled. Because the updating was being done by an outside party we had to use a very traditional page setup. At the end, the site totaled 360 hand-built pages. www.naghsr.org
