I had a birthday party yesterday. Mom and dad thought I was insane for creating the menu the way I did, but it turned out to be great.
Appetizer:
Salmon w/ginger & cilantro in a phyllo cup. (handcrafted cup by Jon and Keith)
Roasted Corn and Avocado Relish
Salad:
Potato, Tomato, Corn and Basil Salad
Round 1:
Blue Crab and Champagne Risotto
Buffalo Crustini w/Serrano Lime Butter
Round 2:
Grilled Veggies ontop of a cilantro lime pancake drizzled with Orange Cilantro Beuree Blanc
Crab Enchilada and Beef Enchilada with a Red Onion Sauce and Crème Fraice
Dessert:
Strawberry with Zabaglione (a honey wine meringue type sauce)
Blueberry Calfouti( some type of baked blueberry)
It was so tasty and we have so many leftovers we're going to eat the dinner again tomorrow night for the actual birthday dinner. ![]()

I won a digital camera, a really nice digital camera. It is a Stylus 710 by Olympus. But I already have a digital camera and I also already have a 256 MB stick for it. So what do I do? Do I sell the new one or do I sell the old one? I am leaning towards selling the old one since I wanted to get a new one after college anyway. Anyway, let me know what you think. ![]()

So I have been using my sandruck.com email address but I am having one trouble and I don't know if if is just me so here it is. When I try to open the email that someone has sent me it makes me type back in my password and then it takes me back to my inbox and then i can open an email but each time I want to read one it has me do the same process. So let me know if anyone else has these issues. Peace.

So since I moved off campus Mom has been worried about the fact that Kevin and I don't use our heater in the winter (we use the fireplace and sleep on the futon) and we don't use the a/c during the summer (we use fans that are easier to control). But let me tell you all that I sure get enough a/c at work, so much so that my lips turn blue atleast once a day. You know what I mean you've been in the water so long that your lips have turned blue b/c you body is numb. Yep everyday, so don't worry Mom, going home means that I thogh out. ![]()

...Buffalo, and Red Deer. It was amazing.
It was Ed's birthday this weekend, and to celebrate we went to a restaurant called Lonesome Dove, in Ft. Worth. According to the waitress they are openning on in Manhattan on 21st, so all you east coast peeps can stop in next time you are in the big apple. But, I digress. More after the jump.

So I know that it has been talked about alot lately but on a good note about cars I got mine back on Monday and she is as good as new. Well hopefully, she is running okay right now. And I am thinking more about the name for my car what do you think about Gloria, you see my friends call my Saab a glorified soccer mom's car, where as she is a little bit of a badass with the turbo engine and everything I don't know if Gloria is good enough but it's a start.

Well, I just talked to the guy at the repair place. My car hasn't even been evaluated by the insurance guy yet. They just finished "taking it apart" to figure out how damaged it is and what parts need to be replaced and how extensive the damage is. They don't actually KNOW that answer yet...but the guy said they should know by the end of the day.
Man. I JUST want to KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON! Arggggh!

I would be remiss in my duties as a blogger, or one who blogs, if'n I did let you all know that I was in a car accident on Friday. I was hit by a Taxi, as I was coming into the neighborhood.
Let's just get this out of the way: I am fine. So is Keith. He was with me. Neither one is even remotely injured, not even in the slightest. The same cannot be said of my car.
Anyway! I was hit by a cab. It was completely his or her fault. I had the right of way, I had my blinker on, I even paused a little before I made my turn because they were driving like a 'tard, he or she rammed me none the less.
Notice how I can't quite commit to a pronoun there? Yeah. Well. I couldn't honestly tell you if this person was a male or a female, because THEY RAN. That's right. Hit and Run. Bitches. I pulled my car out of the intersection (because, really, I was already headed that way), and as I turned and openned my door (after turning off the engine) I heard squealing tires and saw the taxi hauling ass around the corner. SON OF A BITCH.

So, I broke the diving board. Yep. It was all me. I did it. I am fat and heavy, and I jump really hard, and I was drunk, and I broke the diving board.
Keith totally killed it by continuing to jump on it after I broke it...but I broke it.
Time to get a new one.

After months of being in a weakened condition the diving board couldn't handle any more fun. Unfortunately, the diving board isn't the only one who is suffering after the 4th of July festivities.
