ACEP40_jonsFavorite (6k image)So, ACEP's Graphic Standard doesn't allow manipulation of their logo, or use of any of its elements without using the whole thing (including their slogan, oh boy. *See Previous Blog Post), so they rejected this one, even though I think it's freakin' Brilliant!

The assignment was to design a 40th Anniversary logo for ACEP to use for the next year. In order for the rejected mark to make any sense, you need to see their existing logo:

Anyway. I knew it was going to be rejected because of their Graphic Standard, but I submitted it anyway, and it'll probably go in the portfolio regardless, because I really dig it.
