Check out slow home (google it) it is was started by a canadian architecture (and interior design, and furniture, and manufacturing, and construction) firm, called House Brand. They are interesting. And if you know what the slow food movement (or anti-McDonald's movement) is than you should get the general idea---making you want to go that much more.
