03/10/2007: "Weekend Projects"

Spring is officially here. I have my evergreen clematis blooming beautiful white fragrant flowers. There's new growth on shrubs, plants and some are even blooming! It's going to be a beautiful show once everything blooms. I've grown veggies in the past in various locations and have done OK with it. Not great. This year, Jon and I are building a raised bed. We bought the lumber, soil and amendments today. I have tomato pepper and basil plants I raised from seeds. I hope they can make it out there. If we get the bed built today then the next two weeks I'll start planting the assortments of veggies and herbs. It's going right outside of the kitchen window. We'll take pictures!
