brokenLense (28k image)

I've been using the mask that Greg gave me for target practice because, well, unfortunately, they don't make that mask anymore, or lenses for it, and there was a safety recall on the lense that Greg never took advantage of, so I couldn't use it for much more.

Anyway. I fastened it to the back of a piece of plywood, along with a 3/4 inch x 12 inch piece of plastic pipe and some parts from an old hopper, to make myself a target range. So, after 2 months, the lense in the mask finally gave up the ghost.

To be fair, it cracked the very first time I shot it. A big chunk flew out about two weeks ago. Today, while I was doing check-in snap shooting drills I blew out a huge chunk, and then when I was practicing bunkering the whole left side came out. That's what's you see above.

So, anyway, I thought I'd share that with you all.
