03/01/2006: "No big deal, but more cool stuff from Apple."
feeling: Fine...
Yesterday Apple made some smallish announcements, but I still think they are cool.
They announced an iPod powered boombox, which is basically a big speaker with a built in iPod cradle. That's not too exciting.
They also announced an Intel-Based Mac Mini, which I am only excited about because it is supposed to be fast. Four times faster than the current G4 based one. Damn.
So, Jocelyn, remember when I showed you that mini in the Apple store? The one where you were like "That's the whole computer? I could put that in my purse!" Well, it's fast enough to be a contender now. And, it's still cheap. And now it comes with FrontRow (the software that lets you use it as a media PC) and a remote. Badass.
