02/22/2005: "Preparations..."

feeling: endlessly frustrated...

Today I have crossed a threshold.

I no longer care if anyone here ruins my work, because I am leaving.

There is no need to jealously protect anything here that I have done that is good. They will ruin it in time, as soon as I leave, and I know that now. Things will go back to being run by people who are far more satisfied with fitting in than standing out.

My question to them is, "How do you expect to get noticed?"

Their answer to me is, "Huh?"

But, today I have crossed a threshold, so it's okay that I no longer have the patience to explain the principle. They would forget as soon as I leave anyway.
